Water floor heating, also known as hydronic floor heating or wet floor heating, heated to an optimal temperature by a heat source (a traditional boiler or heat pump) through floor heating pipes. While electric floor heating works by having an ultra-thin heating wire installed under the floor, generates heat from the conductor resistance of the cable.
How long does the floor heating installation take?
Comparatively, electric floor heating is much quicker and easier to install, generally in just an hour (depending on the size of the room). While water-based floor heating system is more complicated and will take much longer.

Electric floor heating is suitable for both new build and renovation projects, especially perfect for a small area and can be used as an add-on to a water system. The water floor heating is traditionally included in a new build construction, and more suitable for large areas.
